Assessment Duration: The number and length of assessment sessions will depend on the child or teenagers age and capacity. To ensure accurate and reliable results that reflect their true abilities, 1–3 sessions may be scheduled to minimise fatigue and restlessness. Additional sessions, if required, are provided at no extra cost.
ADHD Diagnosis
A Paediatrician OR Psychiatrist is required to formally diagnose and/or prescribe medications for ADHD.
Psychological assessment helps determine if a child or teenager is exhibiting ADHD symptoms and likely meets the criteria for a diagnosis. This involves a thorough evaluation of their functioning at home and school. Cognitive assessment also identifies strengths and weaknesses to guide support strategies and improve overall functioning.
