Specific Learning Disorder (SLD) & Learning Difficulties Assessment
A learning assessment includes a cognitive (IQ) assessment and a series of academic assessments to identify functional strengths and weaknesses in learning areas such as reading, writing, mathematics. This assessment will assist in identifying or diagnosing specific learning disorders/difficulties such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia or Dyscalculia.

A learning assessment may also identify why a child, or teenager may be experiencing academic difficulties in the following core areas:

This comprehensive approach helps identify unique strategies and tailored recommendations to support your child or teenagers learning needs. The findings can guide:

With this information, unique strategies and recommendations can be identified to better support future academic outcomes.
Learning Assessment Process
Parent Interview & Assessment Consultation:

50 minutes.
Assessment:
-
2-3 hours, conducted over 1 -3 sessions.

The number and length of assessment sessions will depend on the child or teenagers age and capacity. To ensure accurate and reliable results of their true abilities, 1–3 sessions may be scheduled to minimise fatigue and restlessness. Additional sessions, if required, are provided at no extra cost.
The Assesment Includes:

Cognitive (IQ) Assessment

Educational Assessment of reading, written expression and numeracy skills

Comprehensive Report including results, recommendations, and strategies

Delivered approximately 3-4 weeks following completion of the assessment

Feedback Consultation Session (50 minutes)
Total Fee: $1, 900.00

A $400 deposit, credited to the total fee, is payable at the time of the parent interview.
